For over fifty one years the people of the communities of Morvant, Beetham, Laventille and Sea Lots have been trapped behind PNM lies. Made into victims, dehumanised beyond recognition, abandoned to squalor, poverty and a life of mindless violence, these people are unable to recognise their abuser nor understand that they are being abused. Like survivors of a hostage situation, these tens of thousand of our brothers and sisters demonstrate the classic signs of Stockholm Syndrome and need an urgent national intervention to free them and lead them to the path of redevelopment.
Now they boast the highest illiteracy rates, incarceration rates, deaths by violence, of people with matters before the courts, school droop out and truancy, of drug addiction, of homelessness and lawlessness, they also boast the lowest rates of home ownership, business ownership, education, and life expectancy.
Anywhere else in the civilised world this would be a crime, and we are calling on the highest authority in the land to intervene and set our people free.
Join us in the call to rescue this nation and the people of the at risk communities from their PNM overlords and slave masters.
Help us break the chains and remove the whips that keep them in bondage and perpetual servitude.
