Background (Preamble):
Since Sonic Heroes the Sonic franchise has been declining in quality. Now with the recent Sonic '06 he is considered a joke of a mascot by the industry and gamers in general.
Sega has shown no interest of listening to the fans either as is evident by Sega of America's president Simon Jeffery's recent comments about how Sonic is uncool if you're "over 12" and his decision to focus on mature games and movie tie-ins. It is my belief that getting Simon Jeffrey replaced will send a message to Sega about what fans do and do not want.
