St. Joseph's Church Road/Borgman-Manown Road is a one lane passable road in a serious state of neglect and is in need of major repairs. Traffic has increased on this road due to the opening of the local Walmart and many people use this road as a shortcut to get to the store.
As a result, it is more dangerous to travel this road, due to the major repairs needed. Cars are not able to safely drop off the road shoulder to allow an oncoming car to get around them as a result. Pedestrians, bike riders, and others are not able to safely walk or ride on this road due to there not being a place to safely get off the road to avoid traffic.
We the undersigned, demand that the State of West Virginia Repair St. Joseph's Church Road/Borgman- Manown Road (Route 26/29 - 26/30) in the following ways:
1. Clean out ditches and repair/replace culverts.
2. Fix the shoulders.
3. Widen and Repave the Road.
