Target:
Mayor of New Orleans
Region:
United States of America

Methodist Hospital in New Orleans East has been closed to the public since August 29,2005, Post-Hurricane Katrina. It is now coming up on the 5th Year Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and residents still do not have access to a hospital with emergency services.

40 Million Dollars has been allocated for a hospital. A newly built hospital is being promised which would take another 3-5 years and there are over 77,000 residents without this service.

Please sign this petition to demand Methodist Hospital be reopened with emergency services to the residents of New Orleans East. NO METHODIST HOSPITAL MEANS DEATH TO THE OUR LIVING AREA.

WE CANNOT AFFORD TO WAIT ANOTHER 3-5 YEARS FOR A NEW HOSPITAL TO BE BUILT WHEN THERE IS METHODIST HOSPITAL ALREADY STANDING WITH LITTLE TO NO DAMAGES.
