We are petitioning the Town of Morinville, Pembina Oil and Qualico due to the contaminated soil behind the residence of 94th Street. Eight months ago there was an oil leak. The residence of Morinville where notified about this leak May 29th, 2008 due to word of mouth not any news letters inviting residence to par take in the meeting.
Do to the poor manner that this situation has been handled and the lack of information and notification to the residence of Morinville we have taken it upon ourselves to summit a petition a tax reduction and the removal of the contaminated soil.
We would like the contaminated soil to be fenced off as well as proper signage warning citizens to stay off the contaminated soil.
The residents of The Town of Morinville residing in the Lake district are petitioning for tax reduction and removal of contaminated soil.
