The Philippines is mandated by its constitution to uphold a policy of secularism in government, business, , education, and community. Thus, all citizens shall be provided equal rights by law in their practice and belief.
However, putting "Religion" as an option in all legal forms gives a disadvantage to citizens without religious affiliation who have become targets of discrimination and ridicule by people who follow certain religious faiths.
We, the undersigned, call on our congressmen, to eliminate the item "Religion" as an option in all legal forms for all citizen of the Philippines.
