Remove Fluoride from the Drinking Water of all Municipal Water Systems in the United States

The waste produced by their industry is a costly problem for many companies. These companies naturally will find the most cost effective method to dispose of this waste. More specifically, a few chemical companies produce fluoride as waste. These companies naturally were in search of a more cost effective way to dispose of this waste.
Studies were conducted and it was shown that this industrial fluoride waste reduced the number of cavities in the teeth of the organisms that consumed water with it added. Since then fluoride has been added to a staggering two-thirds of municipal water supplies. The industrial companies were obviously thrilled at this "use" because it saved them money. But this cost saving strategy is proving to be negative to public health.
Correlation has shown that the more industrial fluoride in water a person drinks, the higher the lead concentration in that persons body is. Lead is a know toxin. This petition asserts that it is at best imprudent, at worst detrimental to public health, to blindly continue to fluorinate water without more thorough experimentation to explore the real effects of fluoride on the human body.
We call for the immediate cease and complete removal of fluoride from all municipal water systems in the United States. Data shows links between increasing fluoride and increasing lead concentration within the human body.
Drinking water with industrial fluoride added has been show to also cause an increase in lead concentration in the human body.
We believe that the flourination of water has been lobbied for by industrial companies seeking to improve their profit margins, not public health. Also, because of biased experimentation, further negative consequences may remain unknown.
Because of this, we call for the complete removal of fluoride from all municipal water systems until further, unbiased, experimentation can fully explore the issue.
