We the petitioners and friends of Issa Saharkhiz respectfully request that His Excellency Secretary-General of the United Nation petition the Iranian government and His Excellency Ayatollah Sayed 'Ali Khamenei for the immediate release of journalist Issa Saharkhiz because, he is a nonviolent political prisoner being held in jail solely for the peaceful exercise of his right to freedom of expression.
