Shops in Tillingbourne Green are now empty and boarded up with only a convenience store, takeaway restaurant and a flooring specialist left trading.
We Cray Valley West-Bromley and Chislehurst Liberal Democrats want to work with the Council and the shopkeepers that remain here to encourage new tenants into the vacant units.
Clearly a more diverse range of shops would improve the area and be useful to residents who have to go further afield to shop at the moment.
We want Bromley council to encourage new businesses to the Tillingbourne Green area. This will help to gentrify Tillingbourne Green and support the local boxing club and businesses currently left trading in the area.
