I read an article in the Hereford Times that basically read "coded road signs would be put up for WHEN the next accident on the A49 would happen". I wrote a response to that article and, in simple terms, we should prevent these accidents and not wait for them to happen! I would now like to start a campaign to do something about this road. YOU MAY BE AFFECTED IN SOME WAY - PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT !
After losing my son, who was to be 17 the week after the incident, and after reading the statistics about the A49 and learning of how many others have lost loved ones, I WANT SOMETHING TO BE DONE to reduce the loss of lives on this road - loss of life has a ripple effect and causes misery to so many - it has to be reduced!!
I think I speak on behalf of all families who lost lives on that night but also for all the other families that have been affected.
