Washing your clothes is a necessity and at £2.70 per wash and £1.20 per dry, it is difficult as a student to pay for this!
As each person pays around £6000 to live in a unite building most struggle to pay for living fees and the washing facilities add to this continuous struggle.
I started this petition as I find it really hard living as a student with the little amount of money that I have left over for myself from my loan, and the cost of one wash here means sacrificing money for something else. I find it ridiculous that things like alcohol are discounted for students yet important factors like this are not.
My aim of this petition is to create cheaper laundry facilities within the unite student halls!
