We, the 500 Level students of the Department of Electrical Information Engineering, Covenant University Ota, Ogun State write to make an appeal to the school management with respect to the above-named matter.
After the release of the 2019/2020 Alpha Semester Examination results, The 500 Level students of the EIE Department found that some courses recorded higher failure rates. To ascertain the exact number of subjects in this category with the number of affected students, a Google form was passed across the EIE Final Year Student Group Chat. We found that the courses EIE 513, EIE 515, and EIE 517 fell in this category.
The detailed statistics of the results are attached to this petition.
In the light of this, we seek the indulgence of the school management and plead an exam retake for students affected in EIE 513, EIE515 & EIE 517.
Due to the extended lockdown, we have had ample time to review these courses and are available to take these exams. We thank you for your support and look forward to your favourable response.
