We live in a mobile home park that is mostly inhabited by older, retired people.
The park has been sold and the new owners are going to increase the rent on Dec. 1, 2008. Most of us are on a fixed income and the increase will cause a hardship for us.
We, the undersigned, hereby submit this petition against the increase in rent effective December1, 2008, for the following reasons:
We are on a fixed income and feel that the increase will cause a hardship for us, especially at this time with Christmas expenses and the economical crisis.
We have been living in this community for a long time and have always obeyed the rules and regulations.
We do not want to move, but may be forced to if we cannot afford the rent.
