Re-unite the Appiah family
Petition published by Chris Jarvis on Mar 21, 2012
| 94 Signatures |
Target: everyone
Region: United Kingdom
Web site: http://thejarvisfamily.me/press-release/
Petition Background (Preamble):
Mr and Mrs Appiah came from Ghana to study and work, they were here on visa's and there came a time when the visa was denied for the whole family.
Leeds City Council have the children without the parents having faced any criminal charges.
Mr and Mrs Appiah are due to be deported.
It is my understanding that a family is a group and that the taking of children and moving them from one group to another is prohibited by UK and International Law, this is evidenced by the provision in UK Statute Law -
“International Criminal Court Act 2001 – Schedule 8 – Article 6 – Genocide (e) forcible transferring children of the group to another group”

Petition:
There was an extradition hearing on the 30th March 2012 to send Mr and Mrs Appiah back to their homeland of Ghana, the Judgment is now delayed for two weeks, their children were denied visa's to stay in the UK but Leeds City Council took them in to custody by questionable means, the Home Office still wishes to send Mr and Mrs Appiah back to Ghana without their children, who may be considered stolen by the state being there has been no charges brought against the family, but simple accusations by social workers.
Please sign to express that you disagree with the position of the Mr and Mrs Appiah being deported without their children, against Due Process of Law.
