We have all heard many times what it costs for room & board for persons who are incarcerated.
While watching the evening news I observed a reporting of a medical school in Florida where med students GRADUATE WITH NO DEBT.
While sharing this information with another person, I had the thought that all students in the United States should be able to go to school for free, with stipulations.
1. Up to four (4) years paid education for general degrees.
2. Up to eight (8) years paid education for extended/specialty degrees (Doctors, Nurses, Practitioners, Psychologist, Lawyers…etc.)
3. Any schooling after the 4 or 8 years will be the responsibility of the student.
4. Persons who are incarcerated should be released with the bill for what it cost for room & board for their duration of incarceration in state and federal prisons.
We the United States of America, in my opinion have it backwards. We should be using the Americans’ tax money for positive purposes. Pay for those who are trying to improve society, and charge those who are a detriment to society.
