Target: The Prime Minister, 10 Downing Street, London
Region: United Kingdom
Background (Preamble):
By deciding to link military pensions to CPI instead of RPI, this government are, in effect, robbing those invalided through injury on active service and those dependants left through being killed on active service and in receipt of pensions as a result, of many tens of thousands of pounds during their lifetime.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on HM Government to recognise the case of military pension for those invalided and dependants of those killed on active service for the special case that it is, and to reverse the decision to link such pensions to CPI in the future instead of the RPI as hitherto.
