Background (Preamble):
With the passing of California's Proposition 8 legislation eliminating the rights of Same-Sex Couples to marry, I am proposing that we strip Opposite-Sex Couples of the same rights.
This petition is to gain support to Amend the Constitution to change the definition of Marriage to "between no one unless God himself signs the marriage certificate".

Petition:
With Opposite-sex couples getting divorces more than 50% of the time, the damage being done to Marriage is staggering. Marriage has become a laughing matter and the validity of all couplings is becoming weaker by the day.
Therefore, I am proposing that we change the Constitution to make all marriage illegal, regardless of sexual orientation. Thereby, giving all American citizens equal rights under the Constitution.
