In recent years, licensee competitors have enjoyed success in producing straight to DVD animated films that adapted comic book material sought out by willing consumer audiences.
I believe there is a considerable global demographic who would purchase and return the investment on an animated adaptation of the graphic novel Transformers: Last Stand of the Wreckers.
It would provide a tie-in event for Hasbro to market future lines of their Transformer Generations toy items and provide the fan community with a product they could enjoy, formed hopefully without the creative compromises the blockbuster films had made.
We, the undersigned, ask Hasbro Studios President and Head of Global Entertainment Stephen Davis to consider and pre-produce an animated straight to DVD film adaptation of the IDW Graphic Novel Transformers: Last Stand of the Wreckers, by James Roberts, Nick Roche and Guido Guidi.
