Background (Preamble):
I have written a letter of Concern/Complaint to the email address that was given to me by the Thrift shop on a leaflet stating "LISTENING TO YOU".
This is your opportunity to join in with your support if you agree that the pricing is out of control whether you shop there or donate.
Thrift stores are used by single parents, seniors on limited income, and families and people who do not have a lot of money. It is also used by people who are frugal or who believe in recycling and don't believe in child labour.
As a parent it is difficult to keep up with "The Jones" when I don't have money to buy Name Brands for my children so I look to the Thrift shop hoping to find a deal perhaps on a Name Brand so that my children can go to school and not be singled out. The prices at your store have sky rocketed!
I have seen items that people have "donated" with a new tag on it that says they bought the item for $19.99 and it has been priced for $20.00! I do not believe this is why people donate items to the Thrift
Store and would be very upset to see that.

I have started this petition in response to the Thrift Shops (Tsawwassen) leaflet given to customers stating "LISTENING TO YOU" RE: complaints and concerns
As most people who shop at this store know, the pricing has skyrocketed recently and a lot of items are priced more than what you can purchase the same item in a retail store NEW!!
If you agree that the items are overpriced compared to other Thrift store and even Consignment stores please join our petition.
