Petition of Brian P. Lees, etal for legislation relative to a presumption of shared physical custody of a child is accompanied by bill, Senate, No. 1075. Support Senate Bill 1075 to promote presumption of shared physical custody of a child.
Petition:
Innate in children is their right to be loved, nurtured, and have equal access to both parents. Supporting Senate Bill 1075 with the following changes will facilitate an everlasting loving and nuturing relationship with both parents:
In the last sentence of the Bill. It reads "..there shall be a rebuttable presumption in favor of shared legal or physical custody." It should read "...there shall be rebuttable presumption in favor of shared legal and physical custody."
