Email petition was sent to Dr Janil last December requesting for the erecting of metal poles for us Punggol residents to chai our Jambuls. This is also to improve our neighbourhood cohesiveness.
Reply from Dr Janil indicated that residents from neighbouring blocks would not prefer to have that as they were non-bird lovers. No survey etc was emailed to me as proof and this issue was swept under the carpet, after multiple attempts of emailing him, no action was taken and the matter was referred to town council and him, vice versa on several occasions.
This petition is a humble request from we bird lovers to him.
WE, the residents of Punggol and Seng Kang, request Dr Janil to consider this petition for the erecting of poles to hang cages for song birds, particularly Jambul.
