The CPF withdrawal age has gone from 55 to 65 and the introduction of the minimum sum means that most will not see the savings of their CPF.
My sister had worked her entire life for the family and contributed to CPF. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at 58 and passed on just after her 60 th birthday.
She left behind a large sum in her CPF just to be shared by the family, who had already benefitted from her during her life.
The government can help by releasing the CPF savings to people such as my sister, that they may get to enjoy their life savings.
Please help the terminally ill help themselves.
