"The regional library was last refurbished in June 2004. Even so, many would agree that the library is in extremely good condition. Kudos to both users and the National Library Board for maintaining it so well. I have seen how the interior layout has been reconfigured over the years to cater to the evolving needs of its patrons – individuals and families from all walks of life. It seems a significant waste of resources to relocate it now."

As a student that is nearing completion of O levels this year, I have spent alot of time at this particular library studying. It's so convenient because it's in the West and near the MRT, and it has a café, a level dedicated for teenagers and also less than a minutes' walk from multiple eateries in the nearby malls. At the same time, I have forged friendships and built many memories here, and I am sure many others resonate with me in that this library will be surely missed if relocated. It has been an iconic spot serving the needs of not just students, but families and working adults too. Thus, for the above reasons, I hope to garner your support to not relocate the library.
