Since its opening, the parking lot has attracted illegal drinking, noise, vehicular, and pedestrian traffic to Berry St., a residential street located in The Mission Bay neighborhood.

The residents of Berry St. are also extremely concerned about environmental pollution and about possible violent incidents that may arise, since the parking lot operates during baseball game events and attracts inebriated fans.

We, the undersigned, request the immediate removal of the parking lot operated by Impark (Imperial Parking Corporation) at 350 Berry St. in San Francisco, CA.

Berry Street is a residential community that has been part of the city of San Francisco’s redevelopment plans for The Mission Bay area since 1998. We take pride in being a safe and vibrant neighborhood, with new projects like The Park Terrace community and the first new public library in San Francisco in over forty years.

There are plenty of alternative parking options around AT&T Park, other than the lot located on 350 Berry St. We feel that a private parking lot catering to ball park events does not belong on our residential street and therefore ask for its immediate removal.
