Personal information is not a directly protected right within the U.S. Constitution.

This petition goal is to rectify this concern by clearly making such right evident through the means of a constitutional amendment.

Modified Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution

Insert “personal information" into the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, information, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Create the Twenty-Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
