Public hearing scheduled 08/23/11 Carlisle City Hall at 195 N. 1st Street at 6:30 p.m. to discuss petition from Patricia Yadon for a variance in the side yard setback from 7' to 5' to allow construction of a 21' x 27' 2-car garage addition in an R-1 Light Density Residental zone (city code 123.12) on Clearview Heights 6, lot 1, 515 Crescent Drive, Carlisle Iowa.
We, the undersigned, call on the Carlisle Board of Adjustment, to deny Patricia Yadon the variance in the side yard setback as described above.
The city of Carlisle has adopted city code 123.12 for a purpose to protect those who shall reside on both sides of Patricia's property and the neighborhood in general and I am therefore, not approving Patricia Yadon's variance request.
