STOP Irresponsible and insensitive Broadcasting
To all management levels of The Buzz, ABS-CBN, and ABS-CBN/TFC:
We saw Christy Fermin's rebuttal at The Buzz's October 5th show but there is absolutely no excuse to her horridly, eerie, death-intended message that was read by Boy Abunda minutes after Nadia Montenegro's interview.
The show practically gave a voice to a deed that is evil and was broadcasted for the world to hear. You don't give a microphone and airtime to the devil and let him announce in public how a human being with children of her own should have been covered with a pillow and left to suffocate and die. What message are you sending to the world about Filipinos?
Christy Fermin's message is a shameful misrepresentation of what ABS CBN and TFC have been striving to do in order to bridge Filipinos all over the world. Certainly, we do not want to be associated with a "kapamilya" who wishes death upon a human being as a child, let alone belong to a company that provides the means to publicize this inhumane deed.
We would like to question the management's take on this. Christy Fermin is one of your hosts and represents the dignity of your show and ABS-CBN's company. Christy's words were inhumane. How could you allow this low blow to humanity come from one of your very own? We are struck with disgust. We are filled with anger and dismay and we cannot sit here and shrug this off our shoulders. We need to be heard and we want to make sure that we are heard.
We now call on all Filipinos to re-educate ABS-CBN about responsible, fair and sensitive broadcasting.
