Although curfew is not a very prevalent issue in our society and is not talked about a lot, curfew has been around for a long time.
This is a social problem because curfew is no longer to keep the majority of a city safe it's now used to keep good kids inside while bad kids get to do anything they want. It at first helped reduce crime and child violence cases but as time goes on more and more people question how legal a curfew based on age really is. The event catalyst for the present would be cases of police brutality against minors after curfew.
We, the undersigned, call on the City Council of Plymouth Minnesota to revise Ordinance 16, otherwise known as juvenile curfew.
