In many areas in the World that are habitat to Tree-Squirrels, the cutting of trees and branches with cavities is being done during Tree-Squirrel breeding seasons and this resulting in small new-born babies being cut-alive.

We, the undersigned, appeal to International Bodies and World Governments to enact and enforce Legislation that prohibits any work done on trees DURING BREEDING SEASONS FOR TREE-SQUIRRELS in areas that are habitat for Tree-Squirrels, including Urban, Rural, Wilderness, Forests and other areas.

Also, we petition International Bodies and World Governments to enact and enforce Legislation that reduces substantially or eliminates the cutting of trees with cavities and branches with cavities in areas that are habitat for Tree-Squirrels, as this constitutes the direct destruction of habitat for Tree-Squirrels, including Urban, Rural, Wilderness, Forests and other areas.

Currently, in many areas in the World that are habitat of Tree-Squirrels the cutting of trees with cavities and branches with cavities is being done DURING BREEDING SEASONS FOR TREE-SQUIRRELS, this resulting in small new-born babies-animals being cut-alive, while the mother is watching helpless from near-by tree.

Also, in many areas that are habitat for Tree-Squirrels is taking place cutting of old-growth -trees and branches with cavities- that are the main house of Tree-Squirrels, leaving them vulnerable to diseases, exposure to extreme temperatures and predators and unable to shelter their off-springs.

WE OPPOSE THE CUTTING-ALIVE OF BABIES-SQUIRRELS.

WE OPPOSE THE DESTRUCTION OF HABITAT OF TREE-SQUIRRELS.
