Most of us in the UK many not realise this, but under the current laws of our country, it is impossible for anyone other than an Anglican Aka; a member of the Church of England to become Prime minister.
This in effect means that non Roman Catholic, Jew, Baptist or any member of any other organised religion, cannot ever hope to become the Prime minister of the United Kingdom, equally those that do not have a faith are also blocked.
This hangover left from the time of the reformation, must not go un-challenged, after all this is 21st century and therefore we must all have a chance at fair and open representation, something I believe must be addressed, if you wish to sign this petition please do so now, thank you.
Dear Her Royal Highness, Her most majestic and Britannic Elizabeth the II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the United Kingdom’s Parliament, heads of the Commonwealth Nations and States.
I hear by request and demand that the issue of Non-Anglicans as Prime minister of the United Kingdom be discussed and dealt with as soon as possible, as the current system is completely undemocratic and is not a true representation of the people(s) of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and for this situation to be resolved before the next general election.
