Target: City of Toronto/Residents of Dovercourt Rd. and surrounding area
Region: Canada
Web site: http://www.spacing.ca/
Result:
umhh...thanks....
Background (Preamble):
Dovercourt Rd. is too narrow to support parking, two lanes of traffic, bicycles, and pedestrians between College and Queen streets. At times, motorists drive on the sidewalk to deal with the crowded, snarled conditions.
This situation could be resolved by transforming this particular strip of Dovercourt into a one-way street. However, to begin, enough signatures must be collected from concerned residents to commission a traffic study.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the City of Toronto to commission a traffic study that will improve conditions on the narrow stretch of Dovercourt Rd. between College and Queen streets.
Transforming Dovercourt into a one-way street between these two cross streets would make conditions safer for pedestrians and motorists alike.
