Odell Newton has been denied parole several times he was convicted in 1974 to a life sentence for murder. He was 15 during his alleged act.
He has been a model prisoner with no infractions in 34 years. He was out for work release in 1994 when another inmate committed a crime sending him back to prison. Given the chance he's proven to be a rehabilitated person.
