Background (Preamble):
Obstructive Sleep Apnoea is a life threatening condition that causes a persons airway to collapse and stop breathing whilst sleeping thus starving the brain oxygen, this attracts other complications such as heart attack, stroke and even death.
CPAP therapy is considered the most effective form of treatment for patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.
However patients are still having to buy their own CPAP machines and accesories.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call on the government to eliminate the need for patients to have to buy their own CPAP equipment.
As the government recently invested money into our banking system, we urge the government to fund more money into the NHS to enable CPAP treatment to be more freely available to patients needing treatment.
