Nulification of Maendeleo Ya Wanawake Election-Mwingi Sub-County-Kitui County

Evidence to support Petition:
1) Irregular Submission of candidature of one Faith Mulekye, who was not elected as a Delegate at the ward level, as a contestant in the Mwingi Sub County MYWO elections held on 4th July, 2014 against the provisions of election rules and procedure.
2) Unlawful inclusion of one Faith Mulekye in the election for the post of Sub County Chairperson, against the MYWO election rules and procedure that require that such candidate be a delegate.
3)Unlawful Participation by one Faith Mulekye in the election for the post of Sub County Chairperson, against the MYWO election rules and procedure that require that she be a delegate.
3)Deliberate violation of MYWO election rules and procedure by the two (2) Presiding Officers procured from the Ministry of Gender and Sports to favour one Faith Mulekye for the post of Sub County Chairperson.
4) Failure by the two (2) Presiding Officers procured from the Ministry of Gender and Sports to fill the posts of all other five officials including: The Vice Chair Person; The Secretary; The Assistant Secretary, The Treasurer and the Assistant Treasurer.
We, the undersigned, call on the MYWO Election Board to nullify the Sub County Elections held on Friday 4th July, 2014 and declare the same as null and void and call for repeat of fresh elections on the basis of utter disregard and blatant abuse of MYWO elction rules and procedure.
We the undersigned having participated in the MYWO elections in Mui Ward, do certify that Faith Mulekye did NOT win any elective position and that her participation in the said Sub county election was suspect, fraudulent and was in utter disregard of the MYWO election rules and procedures.
