In the state of CA, minors are authorized to receive an abortion procedure without having to notify a parent or guardian.
If parents are not notified of a child's activity, they are not able to aid the child in choosing the wisest decision. Over 10% of women who receive abortions result in psychological damage, and notifying parents of children who intend to receive an abortion can help bring that number down.
We, the undersigned, call on the state of California to put this issue back on the election ballot to be voted on.
