I'm a support worker in a private day centre and i have worked in social care for almost 18 years and recently. I witnessed an awful abuse case against two extremely vulnerable young men in care homes run by a well known company.
What my point of view is and i am sure many other care professions like myself would like these young people to have more protection. I think there should be the option for parents to be allowed cameras to be installed and recordable 24 hours a day. This gives peace of mind to families carers and to the people who are receiving the care.
