No to the privatization of the Baguio Athletic Bowl

Petition Background (Preamble):
The plan to privatize the development and operation of the Baguio Athletic Bowl has been revived, after being rejected by the community in 2010. The Terms of Reference has been drafted, which, if approved by the City Council, will pave the way for the entry of a private corporation to take control of the facility.
We believe that the City Government of Baguio itself can develop and rehabilitate the Baguio Athletic Bowl, which is among the few remaining public facilities that may be enjoyed by the community for free.
Spending for the benefit of the greater majority should be the priority of our government.
