South African state schools will introduce Mandarin lessons in 2016 in a bid to boost and support cultural relations with China, its largest trading partner.

There is a beneficial side to this and the bad which we will experience long term. Yes, learning the language of the new super power makes business and economical sense for your kids and the entire country. But you need to know that we are doing business with them having so much leverage and giving us the terms which will simply mean China will own most of South Africa, economically and most resources in addition to being in long terms debt. How do you think America which owes China over a trillion dollars got themselves in that situation?

We have to go deeper, Chinese propaganda being fed to us and that would mean we being economically colonized again while we still trying to recover from the previous challenges. You can look at Botswana as one of the case studies. So this precedes sink or swim analogy, short term we are "swimming" long term we will be "sinking" for a fact!

We need to learn to be more aggressive in the terms of doing business with other countries, this soft diplomatic lingo does not work for us. American industries thought it made business sense to completely outsource their factories and etc to China because it was cheap labor and they had relaxed laws to do business. But they were only helping China to become far more powerful without knowing it and now its too late; now that they are aware. So lets learn from Americans mistakes.

Africa is a power house of wealth, we should be prioritizing African languages in order to build social cohesion.

We, the undersigned, call on The education department of South Africa and the honorable president of South Africa to abort this imposition on our students and our country.

Citizens of South Africa, refrain from partaking in this imposition which will leave us colonised, and at the mercy of China in a few years.
