Persimmon Homes Wales plan to build 115 houses adjacent to the conservation area in Llantwit Major on prime green fields adjoining Plasnewydd Farm on Cowbridge Road. We object to this proposal on the grounds of:
1. There is currently no planning policy in place in the Vale of Glamorgan upon which to determine this application.
2. The site has a history of flooding
3. Pedestrian and vehicular access into town would be dangerous
4. Destruction of Grade 2 agricultural land and wildlife habitat
5. Adding further strain on town infrastructure (medical, commercial, schools, parking)
