Since the basketball courts have been built in our neighborhood, we have witnessed the destruction of property, a higher incidence of traffic, and nonresidents loitering throughout the neighborhood.
When residents take their children to the playground, the children have been exposed to profanity and have also witnessed first hand the destruction of the playground equipment as well as the fencing surrounding the area.
Recently the basketball nets have been taken down for temporary cleaning. Since that time, there has been less traffic and the playground has become a more pleasant environment for families living in Lake Talia.
