The purpose of this petition is to request exploration of alternative forms of assessment in regards to the Special Education population of Pennsylvania.

We the people of Pennsylvania, request the exploration of the following assessment methods for Special Needs students of Pennsylvania:
-teacher-made assements
-rubrics and portfolios
-multi-tiered (middle level testing)
-enforcement and specification of guidelines in regards to a service learning project.
