Wasatch County currently has a size cap on retail stores. Until recently Heber City had a similar cap, a referendum election is now underway to REPEAL the law allowing a cap increase.
A restriction on the physical size of retail stores will be very helpful in retaining the small town, rural atmosphere that has been repeatedly indicated as desired by the residents of the valley.
We, the undersigned residents of Wasatch County, express our desire to retain a rural, small-town atmosphere in our valley.
Retaining a cap on the physical size of individual retail businesses will aid in that concept. We support that cap.
