On May 8th a bill slipped under the nose of hundreds of thousands of North Carolina Citizens. Parading under a law that would be the so called "champion of families safety and protection."
However, behind the scenes we feel that the bill accomplishes the opposite. In what way does the bill offer job security? Or proper health insurance? Don't sit in your office and act like it's too hard. Make some bold decisions. Not these reinforcements of old laws.. this will not be the first petition I assure you, groups are mobilizing.
Our goals are pretty straightforward. Due to the somewhat large public outcry we propose to send the Amendment back to ballot.
By signing this petition you hereby agree Amendment 1 should be sent to a recall election.
With any hope and constant vigilance we can make a difference in our state and move forward from these unnecessary laws.
