Background (Preamble):
For 149 days the NBA players and the owners have been fighting over controlling interest of the fans' money. If it were not for the the fans purchasing tickets, buying jerseys or patronizing the vendors at the games, the owners and player would not have the status they take for granted now.
During this lockout period, the vendors and support staffs were unable to work therefore not paid. The mission is to get compensation for these workers.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, call for the NBA League to compensate the vendors and the support staff for lost wages during the negotiations between the players and owners.
The request would include days that would have been scheduled during the 149 days lockout at their current salary before the negotiations.
