Native Americans all across these United States were robbed of their land and their freedoms several hundred years ago, and while they deserve much more than remembrance, that is the least we can give them.
So many other people and groups are remembered with a National Holiday and I believe we owe the same to the very first Americans.
We, the undersigned, call on our congressmen and women to institute a National Holiday for all Native Americans in order to remember the hardships they endured and the differences they made in this country.
