Allow mobile homes in Wharton County

Petition Background (Preamble):
We live on Belle st in Wharton County behind the H.S.
On our street alone there are over 6 Mobile Homes. 2 mobile homes directly across from me are boarded up and have not been lived in for 8 to ten years but i would hate to think that they are still there cause city collects taxes for them.
We don't live in a high class, all brick home neighborhood. But we are still people, and citizens of Wharton county. And we are trying to improve our neighborhood!

Petition:
We the undersigned, call on the citizens of Wharton county to help in the re-writing of the current laws that forbids land owners in putting a mobile home on their properties.
Unless you have one on there already and have owned it for more than 6 months current laws state you can not move a mobile home on your property, but you can move a manufactured home on the property. The difference is a sicker and about $30,000 more In which we don't have.
We would understand if we lived in an all home neighborhood that had not even 1 mobile home. But that is not the case.
All we are wanting is to live the rest of our lives here and to watch our kids and grand kids continue to grow.
