Background (Preamble):
The pensioner made contributions to the pension funds. These funds have been invested and have increased the pension funds to a present sum of 23 Billion dollars. As pensioners we believe that there is adequate pension funds to create a Group Health Benefits Account.
Petition:
As a retiree and a pensioner who receives a municipal pension I request that the Plan Employer Partners establish a Group Health Benefits Account separate from the Inflation Adjustment Account which is funded by contributions from the employers and premiums deducted from the pensioner.
This account would be in Trust and the funds would be invested to accummulate for benefits for now and into the future.
