Whether buying or renting, mold exposure can make you sick. There are currently NO laws in effect in Idaho protecting the consumer from exposure.
Indoor Air Quality has been addressed for cigarette smoke, particulates to lead, radon gas, carbon monoxide... we need something regarding MOLD.
We, the undersigned, call on the Idaho State Legislature and the Environmental Protection Agency to recognize that mold exposure illnesses and property damage due to landlord/construction defects is ruining lives.
There is a misconception that indoor mold is not a problem in the Boise area, this is simply not true... mold can make you sick!
