Background (Preamble):
I have been a relative care aide for a year now and I have been paid one dollar and eighty five cents per hour since I started.
On November 13, 2009 I received a letter in the mail stating that our wages would be dropped from one dollar and eighty five cents per hour to one dollar and sixty cents per hour. Both of the above wages are completely unfair.

Petition:
We the relative care aides of Michigan, call on Jennifer Granholm to up our wages from 1.60 per hour to the regular minimum wage 7.25 per hour. Some of us work 9 to 12 hour days 7 days a week at 1.60 per hour. It's UNFAIR!
We should have the same wage opportunity as every one else. Why should we be under paid yet over worked!
