Remove restrictions on qualified family doctors from accessing Medicare Provider Numbers in Australia

We, the undersigned, call on the Department of Health & Ageing to review its policies regarding the restriction of Medicare Provider Numbers to otherwise qualified overseas trained doctors (OTD's).

We would like to see a more reasonable pathway for these doctors to provide quality care for Australian communities, with a lifting of the 10 year moratorium for OTD's gaining a Medicare Provider Number.
